Yeah, he is. And I'm not really sure. We haven't actually been on the moon that long, and sometimes we've got problems with the lights, but it's never lasted this long before.
The atmosphere around here is thicker and tenser than usual. Just be on guard alright? Trust your instincts and stay inside. I'll stop by later and text you any important updates.
Hold on a second! If you're worried about that, then there's no reason you should be walking around outside either. I'll be fine. Just stay where you are, okay?
I'm not going out unless I have to. I'll be fine and I have my sword with me. I survived a zombie invasion, so that earns me some credibility I'd think.
And I can't make a post. Looks like they're disabling functions. I'll come over there. If things get worse, it'll be harder for me to get to you later.
[ about forty five minutes later he gives him a quick call on Aoba's coil but ends the call. He then knocks before he speaks. He looks relatively composed and calm. ]
[ It took longer than Aoba expected it too, and he's pacing in his room by the time Koujaku gets there. He's fast to respond to make his way for the door though when he hears him. ]
[ He puts on a friendly smile to reassure Aoba he's fine, the situation is fine. While how much this is true, he doesn't want Aoba to worry about him at the very least. ]
Yo. [ he nods. ] A little chaotic, and some of the tech is on the fritz, but nothing like the old fashioned way to get through doors. [ what he means by that, well... ] I rather not bust your door down if I have to, though.
[ he needs to diffuse the situation. sounding too worried isn't going to help, so he tries the calm approach now. ]
Don't worry, Aoba. Eventually it'll work when it's not acting up. We just need a little patience, as a broken door won't help. [ he sits down on the ground next to the door. ] You can hear me through this door, right?
[ Leaning his forehead against the door willing his foot to stop hurting. Oh my god, that was the worst idea he's had in a long time. ]
I can hear you, but what happens if the doors take awhile to open back up?
[ He'll eventually die of starvation if they stay closed for too long. ... Or dehydration actually now that he thinks about it. Though dying because you can't drink anything as opposed to dying because you can't eat anything isn't a comforting thought. ]
Luckily I'm a patient man. [ and just in case of that, he puts Beni in sleep mode. ] If it takes too long, I'll try to persuade the door to open in a more physical manner. [ his tone is still joking. ]
Yo, Aoba. [ he wait a little bit before he continues. ] Remember how we used to play games together while we waited for Tae-san to get back home? I'm trying to remember one of the games we played. I think one had something to do with word association. [ another brief pause. ] Wanna do it for old time's sake? It'll be easier to pass time that way.
At least his foot is finally starting to not hurt. He sighs at Koujaku's suggestion, but there's not a lot to do waiting for the doors to open, and he's a little too distracted by his own panic to be good for casual conversation. ]
